STOTT PILATES® was invented over 30 years ago by two Canadians, Lindsay and Moira Merrithew, and is a contemporary approach to the original method created by Joseph H. Pilates. The training center, with its headquarter in Toronto, Canada, is one of the oldest and most renowned in the world. It is the result of a long collaboration with physiotherapists, sports physicians and fitness experts and is considered one of the safest and most effective methods.
It takes into account the new knowledge we have about the body and biomechanics today. Special attention is paid to the execution of movements and the stabilization of the shoulder blades. In addition, there are three levels of difficulty, Essential, Intermediate and Advanced, which allow for real progression. This method is regularly updated through workshops and continuous training of the instructors.

STOTT PILATES® Mind-/Body Training is appreciated by fitness and health professionals around the world. The repertoire was created by professionals for professionals and consists of more than 500 systematic mat and equipment exercises.

Another advantage: You improve your flexibility and become more aware of your body. For athletes, this discipline allows a tenfold increase in performance. Breathing is also very important, slow and deep, which is excellent for the abdominal belt and the oxygen supply to the muscles.

For whom is it intended?

This gentle training is for everyone, regardless of age and athletic ability. Thanks to its three levels, it can be adapted to the needs of everyone. STOTT PILATES® is perfect for those who want to build up their muscles efficiently without straining their joints. This method is also used in many areas of functional rehabilitation: for example after an injury or before/after childbirth.
